Sluts: The Truth About Sex Shame & What We Can Do to Fight It

Penguin Random House Children's approached me and asked me to write the first Young Adult non-fiction book investigating and exploring where slutshaming comes from, Sluts. Aimed at a crossover audience (age 15-25) of women, this is an empowering story taking readers through the history of sex shame, how it impacts girls and queer people from childhood through to adulthood, the specific impact on different marginalised communities, and the bigger, real-world consequences slutshaming can cause.
Sluts was featured in Stylist, The Sunday Times Style, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan UK, Mashable, Bricks, and Glamour UK. It was picked as read of the month by Service95, Dua Lipa's magazine, and was blurbed by presenters Ruby Rare and Laura Whitmore, MP Nadia Whittome and journalist Rachel Thompson.
Sluts was published in the UK in 2024 and translated/published in Germany in 2025.
